Terroirista Wine

MAAL Wines has an attitude problem, and we love them for it! When the vineyard, who described themselves as “friends who make wines for friends,” reached out about creating the identity for its three new Malbecs, they expressed the desire to communicate that they didn’t care where the world of high-end wines was heading… they wanted to stay “behind,” skipping out on the accolades of a boring industry. They aspired to burn the status quo down to the ground, symbolized by “the burning of the vines,” marking the end of winter. Thus, Oveja&Remi created the mysterious Terroirista, its wine-centric “Terroirs” namesake speaks to wine connoisseurs about different regions, and a branding strategy that conceals the identity of its creators through a simple, intimidating, and rebellious label. This one definitely raised some flags!
